End of Sem :(

Hi all!

I have just finished my last class of the semester in Flinders! Time really flies; I can’t believe that my time here in Flinders is about to come to an end (apart from a few assignment submissions left).

Throughout the 4.5 months here, I have seen and gained much. I have met many new friends, many of whom are from my home country, Singapore. I believe we will continue to keep in touch even after I return home. Also, I have seen much of Adelaide and New Zealand. I will continue my travels to the rest of Australia in the coming semester break. The topics that I took in Flinders have also allowed me to gain further understanding in certain aspects of my major, due to my engaging tutors who have challenged my perspectives.

To students coming to Flinders, I am sure you will enjoy your time here like I did! The Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) holds many events that provide student welfare like free food, haircuts and massages; be sure to go for them! Although Flinders is a distance from the city, buses are frequent and arrive on time, making travelling easy. Adelaide holds many many weekend and farmers’ markets that you should visit! Depending on the kind of markets, they are good places to buy fresh produce, eat street food, or buy gifts back home.

Cheers,

Florence
