A review of the current Learning Management System (LMS) – better known as Flinders Learning Online (FLO) – is underway. Your input in to this review is crucial, as it will help the university decide which technologies will give you the best learning experience.
Why we are doing a review
It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed the current LMS – the last review was in 2012. With technology changing rapidly, we are reviewing the LMS to make sure we can provide you with the best possible online learning experience.
It’s important we hear from you about what you need and would like to see from a LMS. This will help us make the right decision about the best LMS for Flinders.
How you can get involved
To find out more information and have your say about the LMS review, you can:
- Book in to attend a roadshow. The roadshows are designed to provide you with information about the review; the who, what, why and when. If you can’t attend in person, you can attend online – self-enrol in this FLO site and join via Collaborate on Thursday, 7 March from 6pm – 7pm (ACDT).
- Attend a come and try session to preview, trial and compare other LMS products used in the Australian higher education sector. Staff will be available at the session to help you navigate the other products, and free pizza will be provided.
How to provide feedback
Once you have explored the LMS and are ready to provide feedback, please complete our survey (it should take no longer than 10 minutes).
To keep up to date, visit the LMS Review website or email any questions you have to the Digital Student and Teaching Services team.
