Make an ad, make your mark and change lives – AdMental 2020

Are you interested in advertising and keen to get your foot in the door? Are you a young creative, or think you have what it takes to be one?

This is your opportunity to create an ad that won’t just get you noticed, it may well change lives.

The Don Dunstan Foundation is looking for a video 30 seconds to two minutes long to help change the way young people think about and discuss mental health.

Form a team or go it alone. Either way, you’ll have a chance to create something great. If you need advice or help to sort the good ideas from the not so good, advertising mentors are available during the ideas stage to bounce ideas off of.

Two finalists/teams will be selected, based on both the strength of their idea and the ability to make it within the budget allocated.

The finalists will each get $1000 cash and support and mentoring from local advertising agencies to help hone their idea and produce the ad.

The finalists will present their finished ads in a Gruen style challenge at the Don Dunstan Foundation’s AdMental event in April, attended by Don Dunstan Foundation staff, mental health professionals and the Adelaide Advertising Industry.

The winning videos and contributors will gain additional exposure via participating mental health organisations
