Teaching Awards: Taking the Next Step

As many Colleges determine the outcome of their Teaching Excellence Awards, those fortunate enough to be successful should start thinking about applying for institutional recognition in the form of a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Up to three awards are made each year, and each winner (team or individual) receives a certificate and prize of $5000. The key component of a nomination is a 4-page written statement addressing a chosen criterion, and in many cases a successful College Teaching Excellence Award application can be used as a first draft.

Register your intention to apply for a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and take your College recognition to the next level.
