New Recording Pods

Are you sick of trying to find a quiet place to record videos? Or worried that the dog might bark? Or that the cat might walk across the keyboard? There are now a series of four Recording Pods available in the Library for you to use to create videos or engage in a web conferencing session.

The pods are sound-treated and fitted with high-quality cameras, microphones and lighting all set up and ready to go. Best of all, they are easy to use – it’s just like logging on to your work computer or laptop and running a Collaborate session through FLO or recording a video using Kaltura. You can even run a live streamed lecture. No longer do you need to worry about how to setup the equipment or what might be in the video background.

The pods are in Room 109, Level 1 Central Library. So, if you require a room away from the noisy office, with no interruptions or pets wanting to be part of your video when doing them at home, then these pods are for you. Each pod can be booked via Outlook calendars. For more information, please visit the Recording rooms page on FLO Staff Support.
