Do you teach or support with first year students? Did you know about the First Year Community of Practice?

This First Year Community of Practice which started in 2009 offers a place for you to discuss ideas about supporting first years to successfully transition to and through university. This year our sessions our will focus on staff and student wellbeing.

Our first meeting will be in March and then monthly after that on different days and at different times to better accommodate everyone’s busy schedules. They will all run in hybrid mode, so you can attend either in person or online via Teams.  The Teams channel is also a place for communication and knowledge exchange, so you can be involved even if you are unable to attend a meeting.
