People & Culture services on Service One

Following the release of Workday on 9 June 2020, as the next steps in our transformation led by MyWorklife program team, several People & Culture requests and queries now live on Service One.

Service One is an online service request tool that is already being used widely across the University for service management.

The following People & Culture Services are now available on Service One.

  • Requests for support with job requisitions (formerly request to fill vacancy process)
  • Submit approved Recommendation to Appoint form
  • Request a People & Culture Report
  • Request a Pre-June Payslip
  • Add a new affiliate to Workday
  • Submit a request for Non-standard Leave (such as Jury Duty leave, Community Service leave etc)
  • Submit an approved request for Overseas Conference Leave (OCL)/Outside Studies Program (OSP)
  • Submit a query regarding Workday

To raise a People & Culture services request, open Service One via your Flinders dashboard (‘Okta dashboard’). You will find the People & Culture services listed in Service One under ‘General Services’.

Once a request has been raised, it will be appropriately actioned by People & Culture or the MyWorklife Project Team.

By moving a number of  People & Culture services into Service One, we are further improving our services, increasing service transparency, and enabling our teams to track and monitor demand. We will be adding more services as we streamline our service catalogue in the coming months.
