MyWorklife Release – Employment Variation requests on Service One

MyWorklife program team has successfully transitioned the remaining Employment Variations request forms in Flinders Pro over to Service One and Workday. With these changes, the University will further reduce our dependence on FlindersPro. This will also simplify the People & Culture (P&C) service experience for University staff by ensuring Service One acts as the key submission point for the majority of P&C requests & services.

The following new Service One request forms have been released:

  • Request Change of Employment Fraction or Work Schedule (roster)
  • Request Higher Duties Allowance
  • Request Topic or Course Coordination Allowance

In addition to the above, the team also released a new ‘Request a Reclassification’ form in Service One, which changes the way reclassification applications are submitted to People & Culture. There is no change to the application form or the reclassification process itself, but the submissions will now be through Service One.

Once these Service One requests are received by P&C Operations, approvals for the supervisor, finance and budget owner will follow within Workday as they do today for other employment change business processes.

If you have any questions about the changes proposed in our next release, please reach out to the program team directly at myworklife@flinders.edu.au
