FHMRI is offering enrolled HDR students in the College of Medicine and Public Health the opportunity to apply for a small grant of up to $5,000 that directly relates to their research project.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in grant writing, an essential skill for a career in research. Up to three grants will be awarded and applications from all disciplines are encouraged.

Eligibility: applications are open to all enrolled CMPH HDR students with a primary supervisor in the College of Medicine and Public Health. The student will have completed at least 12 months of candidature and have equal to or more than 6 months of their candidature remaining as of 31 December 2020.

Find out more: guidelines, application form and assessment rubric have been posted on the HDR Teams site and emailed to all CMPH HDR students. To provide guidance and training an HDR Community of Practise session on grant writing will be held during the application period.
