Staff are invited to join the Vice-Chancellor in celebrating  Teaching Excellence and Innovation at Flinders.

The event will be held on Tuesday 26 November in the Health Sciences Lecture Theatre Complex
(Room 1.01 – level 2).

The keynote address will be from 1pm to 2pm, and the Vice-Chancellor’s event will run from 3pm to 5pm

The event includes the announcement and presentation of the 2013 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching and will showcase a wide range of teaching initiatives and achievements by University staff.

The inaugural keynote speaker will be Professor James Arvanitakis from University of Western Sydney, winner of the 2012 Prime Minister’s University Teacher of the Year Award. He will present “Principles for Inclusive Teaching (or Teaching like a Pirate…)”.

Light refreshments will be provided between the keynote and the commencement of the Vice-Chancellor’s Celebration of Excellence and Innovation in Teaching.
