Flinders graduate and Vietnam veteran Glen Edwards will be the speaker at the next in the Fridays at the Library series on March 7. After leaving school early, Glen joined the military and served in Vietnam as a medic. He subsequently returned to education, matriculating and then coming to Flinders to study nursing, arts and psychology.

His career since has included  research and clinical work as well as lecturing in the US and Asia on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and learning disabilities.

He will present Challenging the Challenges: how education turned my life around at 3.30pm in the Noel Stockdale Room of the Central Library.
