Project to explore first generation student experiences

Dr Ann Luzeckyj of the Centre for University Teaching is part of  team to win a $70,000 grant from the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education.

With Dr Sharron King, (Chief Investigator) of the University of SA and Associate Professor Ben McCann from Adelaide University, she will be exploring the experience of being the first in a family (FiF) to attend university. The collaborative project intends to document discussions with FiF students regarding the opportunities they feel they have attained from participating in higher education, and the bringing to life of their lived experiences.
