MoTiv – chaplains with a difference

MoTiv, a group of  chaplains based at Delft University of Technology whose services are contracted by the university, businesses and government, are visiting Flinders on Friday, July 18.

As well having a more traditional role, MoTiv act as coaches, trainers and documentary-makers, and are keen to explain how they have built a professional, financially sustainable service that successfully contributes in a secular environment.

From 10am to noon in the Oasis common room, there will be a forum, Inspiraton, Motivation, Imagination – Models of Engagement,  for any interested Flinders staff, particularly those working in technical and creative areas, and staff and student support. This will be followed by an informal lunch.

From 3.30pm to 5pm, MoTiv will present a public lecture and discussion at Flinders University Victoria Square on Sprituality in the Secular Institution.
