The award to Flinders graduate and mathematician Professor Terrence Tao  of the $3 million Breakthrough Prize in the US was reported on ABC radio news, and he was interviewed by Sydney ABC radio. Associate Professor Nicole Lee of the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction was quoted extensively in an article on crystal methamphetamine use in the Medical Observer.
