‘Curvey’ visits Flinders to promote breast health

CurveyAssociate Professor Paul Kenny of the Flinders Business School has organised for the McGrath Foundation’s ‘Curvey’ caravan to visit Flinders University.

The pink, 1950s style caravan travels around Australia to help increase breast awareness in young Australians.

Curvey’s purpose is to create a relaxed environment for trained staff to chat with visitors about what is means to be breast aware.

They will be setting up deckchairs, hula-hoops, getting students and staff to have photos taken and nail art under the trees between Law and Commerce and Social Sciences South.

“As part of the Flinders Business School’s leadership program, I have been working on engaging our students and the wider community in cancer philanthropy by working with the cricket community. I am pleased to announce that theMcGrath Foundation is kindly sending the Curve Lurve caravan to Flinders for our students,” Professor Kenny said.

“Curve Lurve carries out Jane’s wish for greater breast awareness for all women regardless of age.”
