Workshop: Authentic assessment in WIL

Are you involved in the assessment of work integrated learning (WIL) activities?  Are you interested in designing WIL assessments that enable students to contextualise their learning in real-world settings?  The Centre for University Teaching is hosting a hands-on, interactive workshop to discuss the complexities of designing an authentic assessment framework for WIL activities, on Tuesday 18th November, 9.30am to 12.30pm (lunch provided afterwards)

The guest presenter is Sonia Ferns from Curtin University, WA

It will explore tools and strategies for developing and implementing authentic WIL assessment frameworks that fit within university systems, and consider how to measure subsequent outcomes.  Following the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to discuss this topic with fellow participants and our guest presenter over lunch.  This workshop is open to all academic and professional staff with an interest in WIL.
