Palaeontologist Professor John Long has been interviewed for several radio programs, including on ABC Radio National, about a newly discovered bird fossil in China; he has also written on the fossil’s evolutionary implications for the Conversation. Flinders nanoscientists contributed to the the technology of a new commercial solar power generation array that simultaneously treats wastewater at Jamestown, which was widely reported. Flinders University, and the new hub and plaza development, were featured in a feature article in the Southern Times Messenger.

Flinders authors published 15 pieces in the Conversation during April, which were read almost 118,000 times.
