Enrichment for 900 school students in June

The 2015 Enrichment Program will provide an opportunity for  up to 900 Year 10, 11, and 12 students from selected schools to visit the University to experience lectures, presentations, campus tours and a variety of other offerings. Participating students will have the option to experience lectures and practical activities in one of three major streams: Humanities, Health or Science.

Specific benefits for different Year-level cohorts include:

  • Year 10 students will be provided with an early opportunity to make subject/topic selections for SACE Stage 2 in planning their educational pathways; and
  • Year 11/12 students are able to familiarise themselves with the Flinders campus and faculties and are encouraged to return to the Open Days for further information.

The 2015 Program will be held on June 18 and 19. The rotating programs are designed to raise aspirations and increase participation in higher education for schools and communities from both metropolitan and rural areas, and are coordinated by the Student Access Unit with faculty support.

Some of the presentations available to students in 2015 include Forensic Science, Business, Psychology, Business, Politics, Paramedics, Physical Education, Nursing, Law and Nanotechnology.
