Work on the University’s high voltage electrical upgrade will cause some traffic disruptions along University Drive and Ring Road over the next few weeks.

The bike and foot paths at the edge of the forest on University Drive running up Ring Road to the pedestrian crossing will be temporarily closed in order to complete works under way.  Pedestrians and cyclists should plan an alternate path along Flinders Walk, through Flinders Living campus and across the footbridge, accessing the pedestrian crossing on Ring Road.

Some speed restrictions and traffic management will also be in place.  While it is expected that the majority of this work will take place during the teaching break, some restrictions may still be in place for a short period after semester resumes.
