Faculty-based teaching excellence events

There will be three Faculty events held this year to celebrate excellence and innovation in teaching as part of the annual Celebration of Teaching events. All staff in the university are encouraged to attend these events.

Snapshots of innovations in Teaching and Learning from across our Faculty, featuring Pi Shen Seet on Teaching and Learning with Industry Projects; Jane Haggis on Transitioning first year students to Independent Inquiry based learning in a blended environment; George Karpetis on Using Anamnestic Process Recording for Critical Self-Analysis; Helen McLaren on Bite-size Video Teaching in Online Degrees; and Paul Williamson on Engaging Students via Computer Assisted Learning.

Led by Associate Professor Karen Burke Da Silva, School of Biological Sciences, Flinders University.

The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health SciencesTeaching and Learning event will be held in early 2016.
