Latin American Film Festival at Flinders Victoria Square

LAFFA Latino vibe will be loud and proud at Flinders Victoria Square from this Friday, 6 November until 20 November for the Latin American Film Festival in Adelaide.

Flinders, the South Australian partner for the event, is putting on free screenings of 12 movies from 6.30pm throughout the festival.

The Festival’s inaugural talk on Women in Film will be presented by Ms. Natalia Sanjuán Bornay, PhD Candidate in the Department of Language Studies (Spanish) at Flinders. University staff are invited to attend at 6pm for a chat and nibbles before the talk, which will be followed by the opening film Mr Kaplan (Uruguay).

The Festival will screen international award-winning pieces and some of the most exciting and creative productions from Latin Amerca in recent years. The full Festival program is here.
