Drawing on the Flinders University Art Museum collections, they profile the work of the late Jozef Stanislaw Ostoja-Kotkowski (1922-1994), an award-winning artist of tremendous innovation and talent.
Born in Golub, Poland, Ostoja-Kotkowski emigrated to Australia in 1949 and settled in the Adelaide Hills in 1955 where he lived until his death.
Famed for his pioneering art in chromasonics, laser kinetics and ‘sound and image’ productions, his prolific creative output also encompassed painting, photography, film-making, theatre design, fabric design and sculpture.
