Mindful in May – Ten minutes of meditation a day for 31 days to raise money for clean water in developing countries. It’s a clear mind for you, and clean water for others.
National Heart Week – 1-7 May – raising awareness of heart health and how cardiac rehabilitation saves lives.
World Hand Hygiene Day – 5 May – clean care is safer care, annual call to action for health workers.
Mental Health in the Workplace – SafeWork SA breakfast workshop – 10 May – learn about simple, practical actions you can take to promote a mentally healthy workplace.
Kidney Health Week – 22-28 May – raising awareness about maintaining kidney health.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea – 26 May – host a morning tea and raise funds for cancer research, prevention and support services.
Oasis – A University Centre for hospitality, wellbeing and inclusive spirituality that aims to inspire a culture of care.
Flinders One Fitness is providing wellness programs during semester, zumba, yoga and bootcamp, free to students and a gold coin donation to everyone else, visit the website for further information.
