Wellbeing and resilience forum at TAFE SA

Flinders University partner TAFE SA is delivering a Wellbeing and Resilience Forum on Saturday 27 August.

The event will explain what wellbeing is and why it’s so important for us all to look after ourselves.

It will be held from 9-3.30pm at TAFE SA’s Noarlunga Campus, and registration is essential.

The forum aims to inspire us to take care of ourselves and to learn positive and practical strategies to help ourselves and others.

It will focus on the value of positive emotions, positive engagement, positive meaning and positive relationships, and will also share information on South Australia’s “State of Wellbeing”.

The day will feature keynote presentations, a series of interactive discussion and various displays focussing on Wellbeing and Resilience (see attached flyer for further information and promotion).

Get involved by telling your story

TAFE SA is offering the opportunity for people to tell their own stories about working in the area of Wellbeing and Resilience in the community.

They can be told through stall holder presentations on the day of the forum, where participants will be able to share your story and ask questions about the work you do in this area.

Space for each “story” may vary but a typical sized trestle table will be made available to stall holders. There is no charge for setting up your display and brochures can be put in a forum bag for each participant (approx. 150).

If you want to participate please let event organiser Karen Judd know by Friday 12 August. Flyers need to sent to Karen by Wednesday 24 August.

You can contact Karen on 8207 9690 or by email at wellbeing@tafesa.edu.au
