The Flinders students who have designed and will build a solar car to compete in the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge are looking for partners and sponsors.

The Flinders Automotive Solar Team (FAST) is utilising world leading multi-disciplinary research, tapping into nanotechnologies, perovskite solar cells, telemetry systems and installing cutting edge regenerative suspensions systems never used in a solar car before as well as autonomous driving technologies.

The FAST team is comprised of students from mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electronic, software and computer systems engineering, as well as science and mathematics.

Marketing, business, media and information technology students are also involved in various aspects of the project.
