Collaborate to replace FLO Live

Collaborate is an online, browser-based application that enables staff and students to collaborate online through video, audio, chat, document sharing, desktop screen-sharing and polling.

It is a new tool for Flinders that will officially replace FLO Live on Monday 20th November 2017.

Collaborate was chosen due to its modern and intuitive interface, the ability to be used by up to 250 participants per session and the ability to optimise sessions according to participants’ available bandwidth.

Collaborate is available for staff and students to use within their topics now.

Staff training

Training workshops for staff will take place from July through October 2017.

Staff should enrol via iEnrol to secure their place:

All sessions will be held online. If staff are unable to a training workshop, recordings of the sessions will be available in FLO.

Further information

Staff are encouraged to access the support materials or contact their local eLearning support team to find out more about Collaborate and how to use it within their FLO topic.

If staff have FLO Live recordings that they would like to keep after Monday 20 November, they are advised to refer to the guide: How do I download a FLO Live recording.
