Trifecta-win for Flinders at Universities Australia event

Flinders’ Office of Communication and Engagement has received awards in three of six award categories at the Universities Australia Marketing, Communications and Development Conference (UAMCD).

The conference is the biennial signature event for marketing, communications and development professionals in the higher education sector.

The UAMCD awards recognise outstanding campaigns and communications from the university sector, across marketing, communications and philanthropy.

Flinders competed against universities from all over Australia to take out the following awards:

  • Best Marketing Campaign – Smaller Budget (winner, ‘Go Beyond’)
  • Best Communications Campaign (winner, ‘The Investigator Transformed’)
  • Best Fundraising Campaign or Initiative – Startup (highly commended, ‘Donor Thank You Initiative’)

These awards have made Flinders the most awarded higher education institution in Australia at UAMCD in 2017.

They also reflect the hard work, progressive thinking and creative talent that has been invested into Flinders’ brand growth and 50th anniversary celebrations.
