A world of literature now online

Short stories, poetry, peer reviewed articles and book reviews from more than fifty contributors make up the latest issue of Transnational Literature, available online now.

This issue includes seven peer-reviewed articles that explore literature from America to the former Soviet republic of Georgia, with intersecting links between France, India, Persia, China, Poland and Australia.

The latest edition also includes the speech delivered at the launch of Faithfully I Wait: Poems on Rain, Thunder and Lightning at Jhargram and Beyond by Jaydeep Sarangi at Flinders University on 20 October 2017.

The poetry section has been curated by new Poetry Editor, Alison Flett, and includes translations of Iranian and Bangla poetry as well as poems from Indian and Australian poets, including a feature on Adelaide poet Jill Jones.

Six short stories authored by writers from Kashmir, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia are followed by nearly thirty book reviews that address creative writing as well theoretical and critical works.

This e-journal is now in its tenth year and is edited by Gillian Dooley.
