Drop anchor for a fresh coffee option

Providing quality coffee, snacks and friendly service is the mantra at ‘Espresso at Events’, the pop-up cafe located in Anchor Court, adjacent to the Physical Sciences Building at the Bedford Park campus.

Proprietor Tony Jesson created Fair Espresso in Bank Street, Adelaide, during 2010, but changed his business name to Espresso at Events in 2014 to emphasise its portability, and set up a coffee cart at Flinders University a year later.

“We are conveniently located next to Anchor Court’s fantastic lawn area which is the perfect place to sit and enjoy one of our locally roasted coffees underneath the beautiful trees,” says Tony.

“We also offer a wide range of milk options, including almond milk and soy milk.

“We are conscious of maintaining affordability for our student customers, so our coffees start at only $3.50 and our sandwiches and pies are available from $4.00,” Tony says.

This year’s O’Week bags will contain an ‘Espresso at Events’ coffee voucher – all current and prospective members of the Flinders community are invited to take a stroll up to the South Ridge to redeem their voucher and get to know Tony and his range of fresh food on-the-go.

“We are delighted to cater to the next generation of leaders and innovators here at Flinders, and always look forward to getting to know new customers,” says Tony.
