A sleeker, faster Flinders Business Analytics (FBA) platform has been released, combining a clean, modern interface with swifter query processing.

All staff can access FBA to view data and reports, applications, human resources, research, surveys and finance, to aid strategic planning.

The new version has simpler graphics and changes to colours and icons, making reports and dashboards easier to read and interpret.

Two additional graph types, Heat Maps (presenting data values by hot and cool colours) and Tree Maps (showing different sizes of coloured rectangles according to values represented) help with visualising large amounts of data and identifying patterns.

To become familiar with the changes, staff can book a one-hour workshop that focuses on aspects of using FBA and includes a Q&A session.

Staff can also log on to FBA (using their FAN and password) through their OKTA dashboard.
