Flinders is the first university in Australia to adopt SkillsForge’s integrated student candidature system for Higher Degree Research students, an exciting digital solution that will transform the experience of both students and staff from application to completion.

Several of the world’s best universities have already adopted the interactive system, which will save hundreds of hours of administration over the life of a doctorate.

The University’s contract with SkillsForge was signed on 4 April 2018, with the solution to be delivered before the end of 2018.

Flinders University’s new Digital Research Services (DRS) led the open market tender, working closely with the Office of Graduate Research (OGR) and Research Development and Support (RDS).
