The Association for Tertiary Education Management will hold the Central Region’s pre-eminent event, the Higher Education Update, on 30 August featuring a range of presentations and discussions highly relevant to the local sector.

Speakers include:

• Ms Anne-Marie Lansdown, Deputy Chief Executive, Universities Australia
• Professor Justin Bielby, Vice Chancellor, Torrens University Adelaide (speaking on employability, work integrated learning and industry)
• Dr Stephen Weller, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Australian Catholic University (speaking on the consequences of reduced university funding)

The Hon Greg Crafter AO (a former state Minister for Education), will be Master of Ceremonies at the event, which will also include Q&A sessions.
