Campus set to bloom and bustle this spring

Spring is in the air so be sure to mark Flinders’ award-winning SpringFest in the calendar and share with family and friends, as the University again partners with Nature Play SA for an action-packed program of free fun and experiences the whole family can enjoy.

Timed with the October school holidays, the University is calling on explorers from near and far to visit and experience spring garden fun, education and entertainment.

This year’s event will also include market stalls for all people, big and small, such as Oh Deer Sugar, Lorenza Jewellery and Viva La Vida Mexican Folk Art – to name a few.

A program of activities has been carefully cultivated for a fantastic day out. Visitors will delight in a vibrant assortment of activities… exploring the weird, wacky and exciting wonders of science live on stage, constructing their own cubby house with lake views or creating a seasonal seed bomb to take home to the garden.

The expanding list of family activities also includes: live performances, yoga for kids, face-painting, a walking tour with an artist and SA Museum dig pits to name a few.

SpringFest is a free event but registrations are essential.
