Don Dunstan Foundation Thinker in Residence, Dr Guy Turnbull, will close his visit to South Australia by sharing his vision for revitalising the role of co-operatives and social enterprise in South Australia at an insightful event.
Hosted by the Don Dunstan Foundation and Flinders’ New Venture Institute’s Shift.ed program, the Oration: ‘SA: Towards a Co-operative State – Unleashing Social and Economic Prosperity’, will address the opportunities provided by different forms of co-operatives, employee ownership, and regional strategies.
Dr Turnbull is a UK based co-operatives expert and an award winning social entrepreneur (EY’s UK Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017).
His oration will be followed by a panel discussion of experts to discuss opportunities in the ‘purpose economy’ in South Australia – a localised economy focused on creation and experience rather than consumption for greater community benefit.
