Events to empower Flinders researchers

With governments and funding bodies focusing more on measuring and weighing impact and engagement, getting ahead in this critical area is essential. Next week’s ‘Flinders Focus on Research Engagement and Impact’ will explore the changing face of research reporting.

Why the University is increasingly involved in engagement and impact, and importantly, why now, are questions to be answered over a valuable week of workshops and peer-learning sessions. Staff and representatives from industry will share what makes up good practice, the communication skills specific for optimal engagement and impact together, and many other useful skills and learnings.

The events are open to the entire research community, with researchers from early and mid-career researchers, established researchers, research leaders and support staff all encouraged to participate.

Rural and remote colleagues will be able to access and participate in sessions and are asked to email the Researcher Professional Development team for further details.
