Adelaide gets to Think Agile and Be Agile

Flinders University’s Tonsley campus will host the inaugural Be 1st Adelaide conference on Friday 23 November, presenting a curated learning experience about adopting Agile ways of working.

The Agile movement, instigated by American computer scientist Alistair Cockburn, is an interactive approach to project management and software development. The one-day conference at the Tonsley Innovation Precinct aims to outline the benefits that working with greater Agility can bring to an organisation.

While the 1st Conference organisation has been presenting events in Australia since 2015, the inaugural Be 1st Conference Adelaide will shed light on Agility through talks and workshops that will provide ideas and practical methods that can be immediately implemented.

The conference program will feature presentations from such leading industry figures as Joanne Molesky, co-author of Lean Enterprise and Nigel Dalton, Chief Inventor of the REA Group and known as The Godfather of Agile in Australia. They will be joined at the event by other international and Australian thought leaders.

The conference presents a great opportunity for both Academic and Professional staff across Flinders University to discover the benefits of adopting agile ways of working. Register online for the Be 1st Conference Adelaide.
