Help with NHMRC grant applications

With the NHMRC now requiring impact statements for Investigator Grants, Flinders’ research support team has scheduled an information session this Wednesday 14 November to step staff through the application process.

Investigator Grants provide high-performing researchers at any stage in their career with a research support package for five years, including salary funding if required. A key feature of these grants is flexibility, enabling researchers to pursue new directions as they arise and form new collaborations as needed.

The NHMRC has released its “Investigator Grants 2019 Guide to Applicants on preparing an Application” to explain the new application approach.

The University’s information session will be delivered by STEM Matters (experts in articulating engagement and impact), together with Flinders University’s Rebecca Cook and Gareth Rees of Research Development and Support, who will step participants through the new guide and explain how the University can support staff through the application process.

The event will also be live-streamed and available to view here.

Where: Lecture Theatre 2, Flinders Medical Centre

When:  Wednesday 14 November 12:30pm – 2:00pm
