Student space scholarships closing soon

Five South Australian undergraduate students are being funded by the SA Government to participate in the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program in 2019, with applications closing on 15 November 2018.

An intensive, five-week, live-in experience run by the International Space University, the summer program will be held at the University of South Australia’s Mawson Lakes Campus from 14 January to 15 February 2019.

Staff who know of undergraduate students from any discipline who may be interested are encouraged to pass on the scholarship information.

Students must have completed at least two years of their undergraduate degree. Successful applicants will be joined on the program by professionals working in industry, government and the defence services, together with graduate researchers and other undergraduate students.

Scholarships are valued at $13,500 each, including tuition, accommodation and all meals.
