Chance for researchers to redefine healthy ageing

The 2019 Theo Murphy Australian Frontiers of Science symposia – which will focus on redefining healthy ageing together – will provide an opportunity for early- and mid-career researchers (EMCRs) to showcase their research to peers, and to form new collaborations.

This two-day event, which is being held in the SAHMRI Auditorium in Adelaide on 8-9 April 2019 and is sponsored by Flinders University, will allow Australian researchers from a variety of disciplines and sectors to present their current research and share ideas about healthy ageing. The event seeks to further engage researchers with members of the public, not as research participants but as collaborators who can add valuable insight into the design and development of research projects.

EMCRs and students interested in attending the symposia must submit an abstract to present at the conference as part of the registration process. There are opportunities to submit an abstract for an oral presentation, a poster or a rapid-fire five-minute presentation.

Registrations and abstract admissions are now open for the two-day conference, with early bird registration closing on 28 January 2019, and abstract submission closes 12 February 2019. Further information, registration and submitting your abstract can be done online.
