Several new policies and procedures at Flinders University have recently been approved and are either currently in effect or will be effective from 1 January 2019.

These policies are in the areas of Equal Opportunity, WHS, Privacy, Academic Integrity and Student Complaints and Appeals.

In other policy news, draft policies and procedures to support a strengthened Educational Quality Framework (EQF) are currently open for comment via the Flinders Policy Library (https://www.flinders.edu.au/policies/comment-draft-policies). The EQF Project was initiated to facilitate a comprehensive review of the University’s existing policies, procedures and resources to strengthen them, and develop new ones where needed, to connect all the elements of Educational Quality under a clear, robust framework that is transparent to staff, students and external stakeholders. Feedback can be provided on the draft new and revised policies and procedures until 31 January 2019.
