Strengthening Indonesian connections

A New Colombo Plan (NCP) networking event was held at Flinders University last week, bringing together staff, students, alumni and collaborators to share Indonesian experiences and make new connections.

Held on 12 June, the event is the second of its kind to be hosted by Flinders Jembatan.

Around 80 Flinders students and alumni who have participated in NCP projects in Indonesia joined international students from Indonesia, Flinders staff, and external guests from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Indonesian Consulate General and a range of Indonesia-connected organisations.

Five colleges were represented at the event, illustrating the breadth of Flinders’ connection with Indonesia.

During the evening, students and alumni had the opportunity to network with the diverse range of guests, making connections and seeking career advice in a relaxed professional development setting.

Feedback on the event from external guests was tremendously positive.
