Instructors at Flinders Sport and Fitness are taking away gym anxiety for those unfamiliar with a gym environment or hesitant at the thought of working out with other people.
The qualified and friendly instructors at the University’s onsite gym understand the common fears and are passionate about empowering people to get involved – and reap the fantastic rewards of group classes.
Women and weights
Led by a female instructor in the Ladies Only Gym, participants learn the basics or advance their weights workout to the next level.
Fit 4 ever (over 40s)
Circuit style training that gets the body moving by incorporating both cardio and strength exercises. Build strength and get fit (held in the private ladies only gym area).
Getting involved is easy. Classes are free for members, or just $5 per casual class – with an enormous variety to suit all interests and fitness goals. View the group fitness class timetable.
