Flinders University is participating in the 2019 Student Experience Survey (SES) this August, an important initiative to help universities and government improve the student experience and enhance teaching and learning in Australian universities.

Teaching staff are encouraged to promote the survey to students by downloading and including a PowerPoint slide in class presentations, and taking a moment to mention the survey at the end of August classes. Staff can advise students that they may receive an invitation to complete the survey, and doing so will help them make their mark and contribute to higher education improvements in Australia.

The SES is part of the Australian Government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) suite of surveys for higher education that cover the student life cycle from commencement to employment.
