Alumni finalists in education awards

Four Flinders University graduates have been recognised as finalists in this year’s Public Education Awards, which showcase excellence in outstanding education.

The program is a vehicle to share achievements, highlight innovation and celebrate passion and expertise in education.

Flinders University congratulates finalists:

Finalist, Teachers Health Leadership Award:
Meredith Edwards, principal Woodville High School (Dip Ed 1977)

Finalist, Secondary Teacher of the Year Award:
Sam Moyle, Science and technologies teacher, Brighton Secondary School (PhD(Med) 2008). Dr Moyle also won this year’s Prime Minister’s Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching in Secondary Schools.

Finalist, Credit Union SA Primary School Teacher of the Year:
Catharine Carlin, teacher at Brighton Primary School (BEd(JP/P) 2002

Finalist, Credit Union SA Primary School Teacher of the Year:
James Martin, teacher at Two Wells Primary School (GradCertEd 2011)
