Flinders University will launch its 2020 Your Voice survey tomorrow, 17 June.

The purpose of the survey is to provide an avenue for staff to voice their experiences and opinions of the University so we can celebrate and build on our strengths, while addressing potential areas for improvement.

The results can also be benchmarked across the sector and with previous Flinders Your Voice surveys, with several now completed by the University (the most recent in mid-2018).

Goals of the survey

• To obtain feedback on the views of management and staff across the University in areas such as leadership, teamwork, communication, cooperation, job satisfaction and efficiency.
• To compare with our past ‘Your Voice’ surveys and other university results, while providing a benchmark to understand how we are tracking over time.

Format

A unique link will be emailed to all current academic, professional and casual staff this Wednesday 17 June by the independent organisation, Voice Project. The email will contain a link to complete the survey. This individual link enhances the digital security of the survey and ensures consistent grouping of responses into Colleges and Portfolio areas.

Responses to the survey are completely anonymous. Feedback will be compiled offsite by Voice Project and the results of group averages reported, ensuring no individuals’ responses are identified.

The survey will remain open until midnight 30 June 2020.

Results

The University will receive a summary of responses, including a comparison with previous surveys, and these will be communicated to staff, both on a University-level and College or Portfolio area specific.
