Applications are now open for a series of Australian Federation of University Women-SA Trust Scholarships for 2021.

Potential candidates for the scholarships must be women, Australian citizens or permanent residents, and in the latter part of their candidature.

On offer are three Postgraduate Doctoral Scholarships, each worth $4000; two Postgraduate Masters Scholarships, each worth $3000; and one Postgraduate Scholarship for Dentistry or Allied Fields, worth $2000. Applications for all scholarships close on 31 March 2021.

Selection criteria includes demonstrating financial need, the purpose for which scholarship is to be used, outlining the impact that the scholarship would have on the applicant’s research progress, referees’ comments, academic profile and the applicant’s contribution to academic and community life.

Items which must accompany applications are certified academic records, curriculum vitae, evidence for proposed expenses (quotes), evidence of enrolment and for overseas citizens, proof of permanent residency status.

Application forms for the 2021 scholarships can be obtained online from www.afuwsa-trust.com.au or from the offices of AFUW-SA Inc Trust Fund, 213 Greenhill Rd, Eastwood, SA, 5063, or from Scholarships Offices at South Australian universities.

Completed applications must be emailed by the specified deadline to: bursaries@afuwsa-trust.com.au and marked: APPLICATION with the Scholarship Title in the subject line.
