RAP encourages us to share our stories

The entire University community is invited to participate in shared conversations about the University’s steps towards reconciliation in a special RAP forum, “Progressing our RAP Forum: sharing our stories”.

The University’s Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement and the Reconciliation Action Plan Oversight Committee is presenting this forum on March 1 to highlight Flinders University’s ongoing commitment to a journey of reconciliation through a cross-section of presentations across Colleges/Portfolios, and provide an update of RAP actions and deliverables.

The forum will be facilitated by the co-chairs of the RAP Oversight Committee – Professor Jonathan Craig and Associate Professor Simone Ulalka Tur – along with other members of the RAP Oversight Committee.

“The theme ‘Reconciliation takes action’ reminds the university community to be proactive, to engage in truth telling, share the stories of reconciliation and celebrate its’ journey,” says RAP Oversight Committee co-chairs Professor Jonathan Craig and Associate Professor Simone Tur.

This event will be held in the Alere Function Centre at Flinders University’s Bedford Park Campus, from 9am to noon on Monday 1 March. University staff wanting to make bookings – to either attend the event in person or to engage online – must be made via the Eventbrite webpage.
