The MyFlinders website – which has been the source for students to obtain commencement information in recent years – has been replaced, and clicks will be automatically redirected to a new students’ area on the student website.

After a process of engagement and consultation with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the University, the creation of this new students page will provide an enhanced and personalised experience for onboarding students.

A numbered layout guides students through the onboarding process, from accepting their offer and enrolling, through to orientation. The refreshed look and feel aligns to the design of Compass, the Flinders student access portal to content and systems – so once students are enrolled, they’ll feel right at home on Compass.

Although redirects are already in place, it is recommended that in due course, each area across the University undertake an audit of their webpages and other resources, to replace any instances of MyFlinders terminology with directions to go to the new students area of the student website and link to the URL https://students.flinders.edu.au/new-students.
