In recognition of LGBTIQ+ History Month, Flinders University has introduced a range of initiatives that help showcase our commitment to providing a work and study environment characterised by equality, respect and collegiality.

Since early October, the stairs near the Library at Bedford Park have been sporting the Pride colours to serve as a visible acknowledgement of our commitment to sexual and gender diversity within our community.

The University community can participate in this initiative by submitting suggestions for inclusive words and phrases that will be added to the stairs in early November.

If you would like to be involved, submit your suggestion here by 5pm on Friday 5 November.

The Flinders Uni Shop also has Pride face masks available for purchase, with proceeds from sales going to Flinders Pride Allies.
