Racism. It Stops With Me.

Racism. It Stops With Me is a new campaign launched by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), calling on Australians who do not have lived experience of racism to reflect on its causes and do more to challenge it.

To help all Australians commit to learning about racism and taking action against it, a new Racism. It Stops With Me website has been launched, which includes information and resources to support action against racism.

The campaign also includes a Community Service Announcement, which can be viewed here.

These resources urge supporters to reflect on the inequality that racism causes, and to work within their sphere of influence to create meaningful change.

The AHRC hopes this campaign will create public discussion – because talking openly and honestly about racism is vital if we are to create meaningful change in our society .

To show your support for the campaign and help raise awareness about the nature of systemic racism and inequality in Australia, download the AHRC’s Supporter Kit and share its content on your own social media accounts.

You can also register as a supporter of the Racism. It Stops With Me campaign to receive ongoing information about the Commission’s anti-racism work, and learn about other ways to get involved in the ongoing campaign.
